Maple Crown BBQ Chicken

As with all my recipes, you can add or leave out anything that doesn't work for you and your family.  This was amazing!

Chicken Tenderloins (I personally use tenderloins because they don't take as long to cook. Use breasts if you prefer)
Seasoning

For the Sauce:
Ketchup
Syrup (or Molasses, or Honey, or brown sugar) (for my diabetic or carb-conscious friends, use a sugar alternative)
Cooking Oil (veggie/canola/olive)
Garlic; fresh and minced
Vinegar
Crown Royal Maple

Pour a good amount of ketchup (you can also use any left over store bought bottle you might have in the fridge).  Add some syrup (a good hard squeeze or two).  Just a little oil and vinegar.  Garlic - a little or a lot based on your preference.  Finally, add in the Crown Maple - if you like a stronger flavor use more if not, use less.
Mixed together and set aside.

For the Grill:
Cook the chicken like you normally would.  When it's almost done, start brushing on your sauce.  Brush on one side and let cook about 5-7 mins.  Then turn and brush that side.  Cook again 5-7 mins.  Do it 3-4 times total.  (I use this method because I like the BBQ sauce to get sticky)  Use any leftover sauce for dipping at the table.

That's it!  Enjoy.
