TIPS:Use bacon pieces rather than full pieces of bacon - When you are cooking things that where you normally add bacon for flavoring, but are short on time (like weeknights) add some real bacon pieces (bits). We always have bacon pieces for salads and it just hit me this week to put some in the green beans with the frozen onions and BAM! they tasted like they cooked for hours!
